Overview
[REPLACE] Composition came to us with a reputation built on word of mouth but no visual language to match it. The studio — known for considered, material-led interiors — needed a brand that could hold the weight of its work without competing with it.
The Approach
[REPLACE] We started by mapping the tension at the core of the brief: how do you build a brand for a studio whose greatest quality is invisibility? The answer was restraint. Every decision — the typeface, the colour system, the spatial applications — was made in service of removal rather than addition.
The Outcome
[REPLACE] The resulting identity runs across print, digital, and physical environments. It has given the studio a public face that reflects their private rigour — and opened doors to commissions that previously felt out of reach.
